We collect the following data:

  • Registration data: name, email address, hotel name, city
  • Connection data: IP address, browser, date and time of connection
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, competitors monitored
  • Billing data: payment information (handled by Stripe, not stored by us)

3. Purposes of processing

Your data is used to:

  • Provide and improve the SightPrice service
  • Manage your account and subscription
  • Send price alerts and daily reports
  • Ensure the security of the service
  • Comply with our legal obligations

4. Legal basis

Processing of your data is based on performance of the contract (the Terms of Service) that you accept at registration, as well as on our legitimate interest in improving the service.

5. Retention period

Your data is retained for the duration of your subscription, then archived for 3 years from the date of cancellation, in accordance with French legal obligations.

6. Data sharing

We never sell your data. It may be shared with:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Our hosting provider — data storage (servers in Europe)

7. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: obtain a copy of your data
  • Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure: request deletion of your account and data
  • Right to portability: receive your data in a structured format

Your data is protected by appropriate technical measures: encrypted communications (HTTPS), password hashing, restricted access to databases.

10. Updates

This policy may be updated. In the event of a substantive change, you will be informed by email. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
